A Day in the Life: Ashwini’s Core Responsibilities

What does it take to lead a successful Accounts Receivable team? Ashwini handles a diverse and high-impact portfolio of tasks every day to ensure seamless operations for our client:

Financial & Credit Management: Processing intercompany credits, posting write-offs directly to invoices, and posting debit notes to clear open credits across dozens of active accounts.
Systems & Record Keeping: Maintaining and updating critical financial logs, including Great Plains (GP) Collection Notes, Direct Debit (DD) workbooks, and account lock lists.
Reporting & Analysis: Generating financial statements for IC credits, reviewing weekly reports, and keeping KPI sheets updated and shared with key stakeholders.
Team Operations & Coverage: Ensuring continuity by managing essential communication pipelines, including generating client updates and covering core mailboxes during team absences.
Training & Team Development: Leading introductory training sessions on weekly reporting, collaborating on backup training strategies, and creating comprehensive training guides and refresher PDFs to support team growth.
