Having joined Greymouse in February 2024, Farheen is approaching her first anniversary, and it’s incredible to see how much she has grown in such a short time.

Fresh out of high school, Farheen was drawn to Greymouse for its promise of professional growth and hands-on experience in accounting—a field she had long been passionate about. However, Farheen’s connection to Greymouse goes beyond her recent employment. Long before stepping into her current role, she was already familiar with the company’s culture. As a child, she spent countless hours at the Greymouse office, waiting for her parents after school. She grew up immersed in the environment, watching her parents work and absorbing the values that Greymouse upholds. It was more than just a workplace—it was a second home.

Her journey from those childhood days to becoming a bookkeeper at Greymouse speaks volumes about the company’s commitment to nurturing talent from within.

Farheen’s mantra, “Take it one step at a time,” sets the tone for her approach to work. It’s a simple yet powerful reminder to stay grounded and focused, especially as she navigates the complexities of her role as an accounts officer. Every day, she looks forward to diving into financial records, reconciling accounts, and ensuring that every transaction is accurate.

When asked what advice she would give to newcomers at Greymouse, she said, “Be open to learning and be patient with yourself. There’s a lot to absorb, and it’s okay to make mistakes as long as you learn from them.” Her words resonate deeply, not just with fresh graduates but with anyone venturing on a new career path.
