Happiness: A Businessman’s Guide
Published by: Marisa Wiman | 18 June, 2018
Happiness has its price. To build a company there will need to be sacrifices – time. An average man lives up to 71 years. In those 71 years, there are 25, 276 days. In those days you work about 52 years. In these years there are 18, 512 days minus the weekends and holidays. Can you imagine the length of time you spend working? It’s not bad to work, nor is it a waste of time but as a businessman, these days will not be enough, especially if you want your company to make it big and earn more so someday it can be passed on to your kids or someone you think is worthy.
But what if there was a way to lighten the burden, a way to buy time? This can be done through a variety of ways, but the simplest and most productive would be to get help from someone who can do the work for you, someone you don’t have to pay permanently or fire half through his/her contract, someone willing and ready to be taught of what you need to do.
A virtual office has its perks, trying this out you do not even have to keep them permanently, just until your company grows.
And if you have other needs, the talents in these types of companies are usually in many and they are equipped with different skills because it’s a single office, this is a one-stop shop. It’s hard to do everything yourself, sometimes it can cause health problems and this will cost more money, so why not invest in this?
Do not worry if the person does not know your company, it will be easy for them to study it and go to work as long as you explain it to them properly. Be specific in the details of how you want their outputs to turn out, so it will satisfactory for you.
Talents that enter into these outsourcing companies go through tests and training that cultivate their skills so they are highly capable.
When you have other talents working for you always make sure that they are treated properly. People do work and are already stressed out to make it easier for them, at most make it enjoyable for them. Because your company’s foundation is its people.
If you want happiness to thrive in it, you yourself should be an example. Do not be the type of boss to hire someone and frown at them as they go about their tasks. A master cannot be served if he/she is unjust.
Lastly, never stop wanting to grow, and keep at a steady pace, as you let your company grow. But risks aren’t so bad. In fact, the wealthiest and known companies in the technology world are made of risks. Their owners often drop out of college to pursue their goals, although this is highly unadvisable. Always remember that it can be done, and you can do more and become more, so everyone can find happiness.
