A few years ago, Greymouse had the same problem. In 2008 as a young Australian startup, it was easy to look after a small Australian customer base who all operated in the same time zone. A couple of years and hundreds of grey hairs later, we decided that enough was enough. Finally, we put in a system that ensured customers got the support they needed, even while the office was closed.

It was successful. We were finally free of the dread and overnight burden of international “always-online” business.

The decision to change out-of-hours support model was the single best decision we ever made.
