Sarah as the Finance Assistant:
From invoicing and payment follow-ups to sending reports and managing new commissions for clients, Sarah demonstrated her expertise in navigating these essential tasks.
Maricel as the Accounts Officer:
Maricel showcased her proficiency in managing the bank reconciliation of an impressive 48 company accounts from the United States, Australia, and New Zealand. Additionally, she skillfully handled the Accounts Payable Mailbox and Dropbox, ensuring efficient management of tasks and reports.
Amanda as the Finance Assistant:
Desley witnessed Amanda’s weekly invoicing and receipting tasks , which also included the meticulous posting of credit card payments. Amanda’s attention to detail and commitment to accuracy were evident.
Desley’s visit was not only focused on work; it was an opportunity for team bonding, growth, and exploration.

Day 1 – June 14, 2023
Desley’s arrival at the Bicol International Airport was met with warm greetings and welcomed by Gigi, our Greymouse Philippines Operations Manager, Desley was presented with a delightful bouquet and indulged in the sweetness of Choco Truffles. The hotel was already booked and organized by Gigi.
The day continued with a productive meeting and training session, followed by a delightful Merienda Cena featuring Spicy Pinangat Pizza and Pasta. The evening concluded with a brewing session at Highlands, offering breathtaking views of the enchanting City of Legazpi and the Mayon Volcano.
Day 2 – June 15, 2023
The second day commenced with a pick-up from Marison Hotel, continuing with individual training and mentoring sessions. A special luncheon meeting brought about the intriguing Sili Ice Cream Challenge, adding a dash of excitement to the day.
Desley’s visit also featured a surprise video call with Faiyaz our CEO/MD, further enhancing the spirit of connection and support.
The mentoring sessions extended into the afternoon, followed by an exhilarating ATV Ride over the Lava Trail, where the team caught a distant glimpse of the awe-inspiring Mayon Volcano.
The night ended with a memorable Balut Challenge, as the team embarked on a captivating night walk along Legazpi Boulevard.
Day 3 – June 16, 2023
On the final day, Desley’s visit continued with individual mentoring sessions, fostering personal growth and development. A group meeting provided a platform for collaboration and shared insights.
The team savoured a delectable group lunch featuring the flavours of Albayano local dishes. Furthermore, Desley had the opportunity to interact with Bicol University Student Interns, forging connections and inspiring young minds.
The day concluded with a heartfelt send-off ceremony, including the presentation of Certificates of Appreciation and the exchange of tokens to Desley, Shirley (in Manila), and Mavis (in Australia). As a final gesture, the team bid farewell to Desley.
Through close observation and guidance, Desley highlighted the significance of each team member’s role and offered practical recommendations for improvement. Moreover, the three-day journey was filled with memorable activities, strengthening the bonds within the team and creating cherished moments.
