We celebrate the recent accomplishment of Arshika Kumar, who received her postgraduate certificate from Fiji National University.

Celebrating personal milestones is about more than just acknowledging the result—it’s about recognising the journey, the dedication, and the perseverance that led to that moment of achievement.

Arshika and her role as an Accounts Payable officer highlights the importance of diligence and professionalism in the workplace. According to her, returning to university after five years was a decision not made lightly. “Now with the added responsibilities of being a first-time mother and working full-time, I knew the journey ahead wouldn’t be easy.” Yet, Arshika was armed with determination, especially grateful for the support of Greymouse and her colleagues.

Arshika knew that as an Accounts Payable Officer, pursuing postgraduate studies in Accounting would allow her to bridge the gap between theory and practice. “With each lesson, I found myself applying newfound knowledge directly to my work which enhances both my professional abilities and the service I provide to clients.” Her postgraduate program made her more confident and equipped for future challenges in her field. She reiterates how learning should never stop. 

“If you feel like you want to study further, just go for it, and do not wait for the right moment. If you put your heart towards it, no responsibility will feel too big.”

Greymouse encourages a culture of continuous learning— one where personal and professional development could thrive in tandem. Although juggling the roles of a full-time employee, student, and new mother presented its fair share of challenges for Arshanjali, the support given to her made all the difference as well as served as a source of motivation during moments of doubt.
